Here’s a list of questions you might have about how it works:
Why organic and pesticide free?
Organic produces is grown without harmful chemicals, and so are better for you and your family. Organic food results in less food miles, a lower carbon footprint, is great for the environment and all of the species that call this planet home.
I think if you’ve found your way here, you know most of the reasons why we should be incorporating a low-waste lifestyle. For me, I want to leave this Earth in a better condition than when I arrived. For my kids, they want to see the ocean animals living in a plastic-free environment. Whatever your reason, you can be sure you’re doing a good thing by shopping in a low-waste way.
We can’t say we’re 100% zero-waste. Why not? To be in line with food safety standards, some of our products are delivered to us in plastic. So far we have been able to re-purpose most of that plastic through various means, and after it is no longer useful, we’ll recycle it. We aim to reduce our waste as much as possible. We’ll keep you up to date about this via our blog and our mailing list.

Home delivery is easy and convenient for our customers. Without a shop, we can reduce our overheads which means we don’t have to charge you an arm and a leg.
Are you certified organic?
If we say a product is organic, it has been sourced from certified producers and suppliers. We are currently not a certified organic trader, but it is something we are working towards.
What about the carbon you are generating by driving around?
Before we existed, many of our customers were driving 30km or more in their car to shop in this way. We feel that by coordinating it all in one local place, we’re reducing your carbon emissions and your food-miles. In the future we aim to reduce and offset all carbon emissions related to the business.
